McCullum to resume captaincy duties in final ODI against Pakistan

Wellington, Jan. 30 (ANI): Brendon McCullum, who has been out of the national squad with a back injury since December 28, has confirmed that he will resume his captaincy duties in the third and final one-day international against Pakistan at Eden Park on Sunday.

Confirming the news, the swashbuckling opener said that he was hoping to recover fully for Sunday’s match despite still having a bit of stiffness in his back, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Meanwhile, McCullum will lead a 13-man New Zealand squad in his farewell ODI series against Australia beginning February 3 in Auckland.
