Men wanted in fraudulent cheques investigation

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two men wanted in a fraud investigation.

It is reported that on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 a unknown man entered a bank in the York Mills Road and Leslie Street area. He deposited a cheque into the victim’s account, thebank notified the victim that the cheques deposited where fraudulent.

The man was described as brown, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes, black moustache and was wearing a black jacket.

It is further reported that on Friday, January 8, 2016 another unknown man entered a bank in the Sheppard Avenue East and Markham Road area and
deposited another cheque into the victim’s account. The man was described as brown, dark complexion, slim build, tall, with wavy black hair and was wearing a tanned coloured jacket.
