Shimla, Feb. 14 (ANI): Mercury dipped in Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, by 12 degrees after it received fresh bout of snow early on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, the snowfall continued in the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh since early morning. During the past 24 hours, the minimum temperature has dipped with the almost entire region recording sub-zero temperature.
As cold wave conditions gripped the entire region, it has become hard for people to perform daily chores. People were seen lighting bonfires to keep themselves warm.
According to the local weather department the cold conditions will continue for a couple of days. (ANI)
