Three years ago, there was an outrage when Brampton Transit took a decision to pull all holiday messaging. Now that decision has been reversed and it will be wishing riders a Merry Christmas.
Media reports suggest that there will be some signage on the side window with a sleeve that can be changed to wish other communities greetings as well.
As a result of accessibility concerns, it was not possible to display holiday messaging on the scrolling destination and service signs on each city bus, but window signage is very much possible.
In an interview with a news outlet, new Mayor Patrick Brown thought it was a splendid idea and is pleased with this outcome. -CINEWS
