New Delhi, June 13 (IANS) Software giant Microsoft on Monday announced the launch of its online store with Tata CLiQ — the e-commerce portal of the Tata Group — to sell a wide range of Microsoft products including tablets, personal computers, software and phones.
“We are expanding our online presence through our official Microsoft Store so that our consumers find it easier to experience and buy our products,” said Priyadarshi Mohapatra, country general manager (consumer channel group) at Microsoft India.
The Microsoft online store will sell products using Tata CLiQ’s “Phygital” model which smartly blends the physical and digital worlds to create an ecosystem between the brand and consumers.
It will allow the consumers to be able to buy Microsoft products and services using innovations like “click online and PIQ up at store, return to store and ship from store” through a large on-ground store network of partner brands.
“Tata CLiQ is pioneering the Phygital revolution in India, and enhancing the customer experience through a combination of in-store shopping benefits and conveniences of online shopping,” added Ashutosh Pandey, CEO, Tata CLiQ.
