New Delhi, Feb.3 (ANI): American tech giant Microsoft is entering a deal to purchase input method for Android and iOS device, SwiftKey for around USD 250 million.
Microsoft plans to announce the acquisition this week, the Financial Times and the Verge reported.
Meanwhile, the American technology corporation refused to comment on the development and said it has ‘nothing to share at this time’.
SwiftKey has been one of the most popular keyboard apps on iOS and Android. It was launched on Android in 2010 and came to iOS in 2014.
Headquartered in Redmond, Washington, Microsoft develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services.
Its best known software products are the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems, Microsoft Office office suite, and Internet Explorer and Edge web browsers. It is the world’s largest software maker by revenue, and one of the world’s most valuable companies. (ANI)
