According to reports reaching us Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty is unwell and he’s is currently in USA undergoing treatment for a back ailment.
The cause of the nagging injury is due to an accident Chakraborty had during the shooting of 2009 film Luck.
His manager said: “Dada is unwell and not in Mumbai. He is not using his phone and has decided to rest in Los Angeles for at least a month. It’s been nearly two weeks now since he flew to US, and he will return only by end of this month. Dada also had a hairline fracture in his back, but thankfully he doesn’t need a surgery.”
Mithun Chakraborty, 66, known for films like Disco Dancer, Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi and Swami Vivekananda, started his career in 1976 film Mrigaya.
Since then he has starred in more than 350 films in Hindi, Bengali, Bhojpuri and other languages.
His last Hindi film was Hawaizaada co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
He was also featured in Salman Khan’s Kick (2014) and Akshay Kumar’s Entertainment (2014) and Boss (2013).
His last Bengali film was Ek Nadir Galpo: Tale of a River.
