Modi greets Brazil on Independence Day

New Delhi, Sep 7 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the people of Brazil on the <strong class=’StrictlyAutoTagBold’>Independence Day of the south American nation.

“Best wishes to the people of Brazil on their <strong class=’StrictlyAutoTagBold’>Independence Day. India and Brazil have strong and long-standing cooperation in many areas,” Modi said in a statement.

“I see great potential for India-Brazil ties to grow even further, which will benefit the people of both our nations,” <strong class=’StrictlyAutoTagBold’>the prime minister added.

Brazil declared its independence from Portugal on September 7, 1822.
