Karachi, Sept.9 (ANI): Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Zahid has adviced tainted player Mohammad Amir to go out and bowl as much as he can if he wants to regain his form, adding that all matters would be sidelined once he starts playing well.
Zahid further said that Pakistan’s crowd might forgive him, but the main concern was how other countries would react to his comeback, the Express Tribune reported.
The veteran player felt that Mohammad Asif’s return to the national team might not be as easy as Amir’s, insisting that majority felt Amir was too young when he got indulged in spot-fixing act.
Reacting to former skipper Salman Butt’s return, Zahid affirmed that he doesn’t see him making a comeback in the national team.
Earlier, ICC chief executive Dave Richardson revealed that the disgraced trio of Amir,Salman and Asif were declared fit by the Tribunal to make their return to domestic and international cricket.
The trio were found guilty of various offences of corrupt behavior relating to the Lord’s Test between England and Pakistan in 2010. (ANI)
