Mumbai, October 2 (CINEWS): Karan Johar, who holds the rights to the Hindi revamp of Hollywood flick ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, had declared Homi Adajania as the executive for the venture featuring Deepika Padukone.
Then again, the industry grapevine is presently buzzing with bits of gossip around a change of gatekeeper. Sources recommend that chief Mohit Suri may venture in as Homi’s substitution.
A source says, “The film is at the scripting stage and it appears to be both the creators and Homi were not in agreement. Along these lines, they have chosen to go separate ways. We have been considering joining Mohit since he has worked with us in the past and he has enjoyed the idea as well.” It is said that getting another executive on board may prompt changes in the star cast as well. A source near the undertaking says, “There has been much theory around the lead parts. In this way, the creators had focused in on Deepika while the chase for an on-screen character was still on. At first, Varun Dhawan should be marked on, yet he had some date issues. Later, Sushant Singh Rajput’s name was talked about. In any case, it would seem that the undertaking will in the end see an overall update before it goes on floors.” Homi, Mohit and the producers were not accessible for input
