Johannesburg, Dec.27 (ANI): South African pacer Morne Morkel bagged four wickets as England were bundled out for 303 on day two of the first Test in Durban on Sunday.
Opting to bat first, Nick Compton scored highest runs for his side, smashing crucial 85 runs before being dismissed by Morkel, Sport24 reported.
Meanwhile, Jonny Bairstow and Stuart Broad also displayed some resistance as they contributed 41 and an unbeaten 32 respectively.
In addition, Broad and Steven Finn teamed up to make a 36-run partnership for the 10th wicket.
For South Africa, Dale Steyn also produced a rich vein of form as he claimed four wickets for 70 runs while Dane Piedt and Kyle Abbott also chipped in with a wicket apiece. (ANI)
