MP CM Chouhan silences critics, says ‘linking every death to Vyapam, not justified’

Ufa, July 8 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday thanked Russia for participating in the International Yoga Day, saying that it would encourage and motivate the new generation towards holistic healthcare across the world.

“I am grateful for the enthusiasm with which the entire Russia celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June. This will encourage and motivate the new generation towards holistic healthcare across the world,” said Prime Minister Modi during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the SCO Summit.

The Prime Minister arrived at Ufa earlier today to participate in the seventh BRICS summit.

The BRICS leaders will meet in an informal milieu over dinner. The formal summit programme will begin the next day. There will be an official welcome as well as the customary meeting that leaders have with the members of the BRICS business council.

The theme of this summit is ‘ BRICS partnership: A powerful factor for Global Development’, which covers both political and economic issues. However, the emphasis is on economic cooperation.

The Prime Minister will also be participating in the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

The SCO summit is likely to see India, which is currently an observer of the grouping, acquire full membership. (ANI)
