Mumbai: Principal sent to police custody for allegedly molesting students

Mumbai, Sept. 11 (ANI): The principal of St. Xavier’s school was sent to three-day police custody here on Friday for allegedly molesting two students.

“The matter was registered on September 8 under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The principal of St. Xavier School has been arrested. He was produced for remand and has been sent to three days police custody,” ACP Dilip Rupavte told ANI.

“People in this area have demanded that this kind of incident should not happen in the school. We assured them that this won’t happen again,” he added. (ANI)
