Nathan McCullum to bid adieu to international cricket

Wellington, Oct.30 (ANI): New Zealand all-rounder Nathan McCullum has announced that he would bid adieu to international cricket at the end of the season.

The 35-year-old considered the end of this season as the right time to retire, saying he needs to think about the next phase of his life.

Nathan revealed that he wants to spend more time with his family, and added that he might play a mentoring role following his retirement.

Nathan made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2009. He has appeared in 84 ODIs so far, in which he scored 1,070 runs and claimed 63 wickets.

In T20s, he has made 299 appearances for New Zealand and claimed 55 wickets. (ANI)
