On Sunday August 6th the first and much-anticipated Battle at the Border game featuring the Seattle Pro-Am and Vancouver All-Stars took place in-front of a sold out crowd at the Langley Events Centre in Vancouver, BC.
Jamal Crawford (JC) did not disappoint as the star of the show and the reason the game took place.

JC’s Seattle Pro-Am performances have become a sensation, and on Aug 6 lucky fans in Vancouver had a chance to witness it in person. Mal C dazzled through the defense, splashed jumpers from all over the floor and crossed dudes up en route to 31 points and 5 assists, making it all look so effortless. Seattle Pro-Am and the Vancouver All-Stars were in a back and forth game the whole way, till Crawford and his crew pulled away to late to secure a victory.

“I was humbled by how I was mobbed for pictures. The first Battle at the Border was a huge success and there is no doubt there will be many more to come. To witness a sold out crowd and all races sitting side by side cheering on their favorites is why I do what I do. This is my passion to see everyone come together and once again basketball has proved to be a great medium by which to unite everyone.I wish Ball Don’t Stop the best in the upcoming year and I look forward to supporting this great event,” said Nav Bhatia.

Basketball is his passion, there is no question about it. -CINEWS
