Versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui agrees to do films where he has to slash his fees, just because he likes the script.
And on the other hand, he refuses the big budget movies where he has to play second fiddle to other actor.
Nawazuddin, who has now picked up the role of Balasaheb Thackeray in the upcoming biopic on the late right wing leader from Maharashtra, has been having a series of meetings for the role.
The actor has also cut his price substantially in the Sanjay Raut penned and produced film.
Sources says, “But he has slashed his fees a lot more for the Manto biopic. Even for ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’, which he promoted very aggressively, he hardly charged a fraction of his fees.”
The actor who was seen with Salman Khan in ‘Kick’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’ has been opting out of many films with superstars, because he has not found the role great enough.
