Naxal carrying reward of Rs. 30 lakh killed in Bihar

Jamui (Bihar), Feb.1 (ANI): A hardcore Naxalite carrying reward of Rs. 30 lakhs on his head has been killed in an encounter with the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Bihar’s Jamui District.

The dreaded Naxal Commander has been identified as Jodhan Alias Chirag Da, who carried a reward of Rs. 25 lakh in Jahrakhand and Rs 5 lakh in Bihar, was killed, while the Police Superintendent (operation) Deevakar Narain Pandey survived with a splinter injury in the encounter in a dense forest under Charka Pathar police station in the district.

Chirag Da was the chief of the Military Wing of Poorvi Bihar and Poorvottar Jharkhand special rea committee. (ANI)
