Mumbai, January 29 (CINEWS): Performing artist Neil Nitin Mukesh, who assumed negative parts in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo a year ago and the current year’s Wazir, says he is not opposed to assuming more negative parts later on.
The 34-year-old says that he puts stock in working in movies which have great scripts and won’t say no to a film that offers him a negative part.
“I am not restricted to rehashing a specific identity. It’s not about being the reprobate in the movies any longer. Presently there are more character driven parts. So the prior idea of high contrast characters is currently over and there are shades to a specific character since some place they exist in all actuality,” he says. “I am somebody who has dependably put stock in life of a character, thus on the off chance that I fit in a part that is being offered to me, I will do it. I won’t say no to doing a negative character since I have played them before. Truth be told, I adore assuming such parts,” he includes, further contending that his parts dependably turn out to be imperative in the film’s plot.
“Take 7 Khoon Maaf for instance; my character in that film was somewhat negative, yet he was critical, as he gets the story under way. Likewise, in Wazir, in spite of it being such a short part, I did it since it was such an energizing character to play on screen. The length of the part has never mattered to me in any case,” he says.
