New Delhi, Oct. 7 (ANI): Nepal’s envoy to India, Deep Upadhyay, on Wednesday asserted that Kathmandu will cooperate with New Delhi in flourishing economic ties between both nations.
“We want peace and stability in Nepal. There is no doubt that Nepal will cooperate with India in flourishing our economic ties,” Upadhyay told the media here.
“We believe the government will address the domestic and political issues with maximum flexibility,” he added.
Upadhyay further said that strict laws will be made to stop conversion.
“There cannot be cow slaughter in Nepal and beef cannot be openly sold. It can lead to seven years of imprisonment. We will see to it what law is made on it after the new Constitution is formed,” he said (ANI)
