NHRC notice for denying treatment to an expecting mother on unconfirmed reports of HIV

London, July 1 (ANI): The number of bodies recovered from the military transport plane crash in Indonesia’s Medan area has gone up to 141, said officials.

According to BBC, many victims are believed to have been relatives of servicemen and women.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo has called for a ‘fundamental overhaul’ of the management of military weaponry in the country in the wake of the crash.

The Air Force had initially claimed that there were 12 crew members on the plane but the total number of people onboard has been repeatedly raised since then, signalling lax controls and raising questions about whether the military plane was accepting the passengers. (ANI)
