New York, Sept. 24 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) today said that there is no bilateral meeting planned between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) session.
“There will be no deliberate attempt. If a handshake happens, you will get to see it, if a pull-aside happens, you will get to see it. As of now, there is no bilateral meeting on the schedule,” said MEA official spokesperson Vikas Swarup.
Prime Minister Modi, who arrived here on Wednesday evening, is staying at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel here, as will his Pakistani counterpart when he reaches New York on the evening of September 25. (ANI)
