Ola celebrates first anniversary in Patiala, scales over 200 cabs

New Delhi, Feb 5 (ANI): Indian taxi aggregator Ola celebrates its first anniversary in Patiala after a successful year. Ola introduced citizens of Patiala to the convenience of booking a cab through a mobile app. Ola has seen tremendous acceptance and growth in the city and has scaled up from 50 to 200 cabs in just one year, growing at over 400 percent.

Today, users in Patiala can get an Ola cab in less than five minutes of booking through the app. The growing student population in Patiala is amongst the heavy users of Ola with popular areas like Railway Station, General Bus Stand, Colleges and Shopping Malls accounting for the maximum bookings.

Celebrating its first anniversary in Patiala, Ola has plans to treat customers with a special offer. For a week starting from tomorrow, Ola will provide its customer 100 percent cash back on rides paid through Ola Money.

Deep Singh, Business Head – North at Ola said, “We are thrilled to complete an exciting year in Patiala and take this opportunity to thank customers and driver-partners in the city. While Ola continues to gain more acceptance in the city from customers, we have on-boarded hundreds of driver-partners, who are committed to our mission of enabling mobility for everyone. We will continue our focus on Patiala and other cities in the region and further build scale to ensure a seamless experience for our customers, every single time.”

Ola continues to nurture entrepreneurship for driver-partners to address the burgeoning demand for convenient, reliable and affordable transportation options across the country. (ANI)
