One sentenced for attack on autistic man in Mississauga

Ronjot Singh Dhami, one of three men involved in an unprovoked attack on a man with autism in Mississauga earlier this year was sentenced to 12 months in jail and two years of probation. But given he has served time is free today.

Dhami pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.

Dhami, who is originally from B.C., is shown on surveillance footage with two others beating the victim at bus station in Mississauga in March.

Police had said Ronjot turned himself in after a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest in March. -CINEWS
