Movie producer Onir is shooting for a documentary series . The chief is making a film on youngsters with Down Syndrome, and feels firmly about the subject.
“I am making a documentary after 25 years because of the subject. I feel it’s very relevant today. My aim is to get a little support from society, so these children can live their lives to the fullest and contribute to society,” says Onir.
Discussing the idea of the film, he says, “The film will demonstrate the voyage of 21 kids and youthful grown-ups living with Down disorder, from Australia, going to India. They will perform in Chennai and Delhi and will cooperate with individuals in India. Alongside them, three Indian youngsters and youthful grown-ups will likewise be performing. This will help them gain from each other’s experience.”
Onir will shoot the film in Delhi, Pune and Chennai. Some parts will be shot in Australia too, says the producer. “I will come back to Delhi in the main week of July as regardless I have some work left there. I have to shoot in schools in Delhi. The film will be screened at the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne,” says the producer. – CINEWS
