The award winning movie producer Onir, who is best known for directing movies like My Brother Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal, is good to go to make a documentary following a break of 20 years.
Onir has been reserved in by the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for a documentary on ‘Down Syndrome’. The narrative will be 80 minutes in length and will be shot at different areas in India including Delhi, Pune and Chennai. The documentary will highlights the issue of genetic disorder and will crate awareness about it. It will include kids from different parts of the country who are experiencing this issue, and also of their success stories.
Onir’s documentary will be premiering at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in August this year. It will be released online after the premiere. – CINEWS
