As it celebrates its 40th Anniversary, OWL Magazine, Canada’s leading publication for children ages 9 to 13, launches OWLconnected.com an engaging current affairs site, designed to educate kids about recent events and stories from around the world.  The website will present stories in an accessible and age-appropriate way, feeding OWL readers’ natural curiosity about world events, the latest developments in science, technology and the environment, as well as sports, entertainment and the “offbeat.” Updated daily, the site reflects the mission of Owlkids: to respect kids’ intelligence, offer daily laughter, and encourage the next generation of curious minds.

“OWLconnected.com was designed to satisfy our readers’ insatiable appetite for up-to-date and one-of-a-kind content,” explains Kendra Brown, Editor of OWL. “The new website will serve as the place for kids to get their news on a daily basis.”
