London, Oct.13, (ANI): Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao has revealed that he is inching closer to full recovery and is expected to resume training by the end of the year in order to get ready for the final bout of his career.
The 36-year-old, who has won world titles in eight different weight classes, had undergone corrective surgery to fix his torn rotator cuff sustained months before the high-octane fight against Floyd Mayweather in May.
Pacquiao said that his shoulder was 80-90 percent healed, adding that he was expecting to train in November or December so that he could fight early next year, the Guardian reported.
Earlier, Pacquiao had expressed that he would return to the ring for one last fight before retiring to concentrate on a political career. (ANI)
