Pak blind cricket team pulls out of Asia Cup

New Delhi, Oct. 21 (ANI): Pakistan Blind Cricket team have withdrawn from the Asia Cup to be held from January 17 in India.

The reason behind the withdrawal was the recent agitations and threats by various outfits in the country.

Five teams, including Bangladesh, are slated to take part in the tournament.

Confirming the news, the event coordinator Abey George said all necessary arrangements had been made before Pakistan announced withdrawal.

The itinerary of the tournament will be announced next week he added.

The organisers were shocked as the Pakistani side were one of the main team to play in the tournament. (ANI)
