Sidharthnagar (U.P), Feb. 12 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said David Coleman Headley’s revelations on the 26/11 Mumbai attack has ‘exposed’ Pakistan, adding that Islamabad should now act against the perpetrators.
“After David Headley’s statements, one thing is clear that there is an ISI’s and Pakistan’s hand in the Mumbai attack. I feel Pakistan has been completely exposed and it should immediately act on the culprits of 26/11,” Singh told the media here.
Headley, who deposed before a Mumbai court via video conferencing from an undisclosed location in the US, has disclosed the relationship between the Pakistan’s Inter-State Intelligence (ISI) service and LeT.
He further claimed that the LeT leader Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi emphasised that surveillance for 26/11 attacks should be done properly as this was a chance “to take revenge for all bomb blasts India had done in the past” in Pakistan.
Headley had also admitted that he had met both Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) commander Hafiz Saeed and then operational commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi. (ANI)
