New Delhi, July 8 (ANI): Security and strategic affairs expert Commodore (retd.) Uday Bhaskar on Wednesday said that Pakistan wants to project India as a threat to them over Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s statement wherein he had said that the country would use nuclear weapons if its survival is at stake.
Bhaskar further said that the world sees Pakistan as a ‘cradle’ of terrorism.
“Time and again Pakistan threatens about using its nuclear weapons. The Pakistan defence minister’s statement that they would use it if their survival is at stake is baseless, India has not taken any step from which we can say that their survival is at stake. If you look at their recent statements, they want to project that India is a big threat to Pakistan. They truth is that the world sees Pakistan as ‘cradle of terrorism’,” Bhaskar told ANI.
According to reports, Asif had earlier said that it will use nuclear weapons if its survival is at stake.
Asif also reportedly accused India of waging a proxy war against the country through terrorism. (ANI)
