Parliament logjam: Congress running away from debate: Telecom Minister

New Delhi, Dec. 10 (ANI): Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday criticised the Congress Party for disrupting the proceeding of the House and running away from debating issues.

“Firstly, they should answer us why are they not letting the parliament to run. Second is why are they running away from the questions, we are ready to debate on all issues,” Prasad said while addressing a press conference here.

“Though the fodder scam was making headlines it was not discussed in Parliament. Congress party is blaming us that we are misusing the government missionary, than it doesn’t suit the congress party. If there was no involvement of the Supreme Court then the 2G scam, 3G scam would never had been investigated,” he added.

Prasad alleged that the Congress is unsure about what stand it should take in the Parliament.

“Because they know when discussion will begin everybody will know their allegations are baseless. It is very unfortunate that they are running away and that their true face will be exposed,” he id. (ANI)
