John Abraham starrer “Parmanu-The Story of Pokhran” has been shifted from March 2 to April 6.
Avoiding a clash with Anushka Sharma’s horror film, “Pari”, the date has been shifted.
This is the fourth time that the release date for Parmanu has been shifted.
Initially slated to hit theatres on December 15, the release date was changed to February 9 when Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat was scheduled to hit screens on December 1.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Parmanu stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani along with John.
The story of Parmanu is based on the nuclear tests conducted at Pokhran in May 1998.
It was India’s second nuclear test; the first one was conducted in 1974.–CINEWS
