Pedestrian serious after being struck in Richmond Hill

Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses after a serious pedestrian collision on Thursday in  Richmond Hill.

York Regional Police responded to a serious collision involving a pedestrian just after 9 p.m. on Pemberton Road,  west of Stockdale Crescent. When officers arrived they located an injured a 21-year-old female from the Town of Richmond Hill, who had been struck by a grey Hyundai Sonata.

The injured female was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.

Any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are being asked to please come forward.
