Peel Regional Police inducts 35 new officers

On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, 35 Peel Regional Police recruits were sworn in as Constables by the Honourable Justice Jill M. Copeland. The ceremony was held at the Emil V. Kolb Centre, located at 180 Derry Road East, Mississauga.

The new officers successfully completed a total of 20 weeks of training at the Ontario Police College and the Peel Regional Police Training Bureau. Chief Jennifer Evans presented the officers with their badges.  Mr. Amrik Singh Ahluwalia, Chair of the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Services Board, was also in attendance.

These officers have been assigned to training officers at operational divisions, where they will enter the next phase of their training.
