Wellington, Jan. 02 (ANI): The fourth one-day international between New Zealand and Sri Lanka has been abandoned after losing more than four hours to bad weather at Saxton Oval in Nelson on Saturday.

New Zealand made 75 for three in a rain-reduced 24-over match before the play was called off completely after nine overs, with Martin Guptill (27) and Ross Taylor (20 not out) having provided rapid innings, ESPNcricinfo reported.

Star batsman Kane Williamson scored 12 before giving away his wicket to Dushmantha Chameera.

New Zealand are still leading the five-match series 2-1 with one more match to play on Tuesday. (ANI)
