New Delhi, July 20 (ANI): Two Tibetan youth staged a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi on Monday over the release of Tenzin Delek Rinponche’s body.
The duo put up banner in front of the Chinese embassy to express their views and anger.
Earlier, Tibetans in-exile held a massive protest march against China on the fifth day after Tenzin Delek Rinpoche’s death in prison.
The protest march was aimed at highlighting Tenzin Delek Rinpoche’s sudden death in Chinese prison on July 12, the suspicious circumstances surrounding it and the cremation of his body in prison against the wishes of his family and Tibetan Buddhist traditions.
The United States, the European Union and International Rights groups had called for the release of the 65-yeard-old, who was serving a 20-year sentence on charges of ‘crimes of terror and incitement of separatism’. (ANI)
