PM Modi attends round table on renewable energy with U.S Energy Secy (Update)

California, Sept. 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a round table hosted by Stanford University on renewable energy collaboration with US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz.

“When environment & energy converge. PM @narendramodi arrives 4 a Roundtable on Renewable energy hosted by @Stanford. A morning with Silicon Valley’s tech leaders is complemented by a Seminar led by its chief incubator – @Stanford,” Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

Moniz and Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, and New and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal had earlier on September 23 co-chaired the U.S.-India Energy Dialogue in Washington DC and held discussions on their mutual goals for combating climate change, ensuring energy security, and fostering economic growth.

Earlier, the Prime Minister visited the offices of Facebook and Google where he met with the respected CEOs and interacted with the employees. (ANI)
