PM Modi interacts with members of Indian community

San Jose (California), Sept. 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with members of the Indian community at San Jose, California, today.

The members of the Indian community called on Prime Minister Modi at Hotel Fairmont here.

“Straight to the community. PM @narendramodi attends Diaspora event in San Jose, greets leading Indians/PIOs,” tweeted Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

The Prime Minister arrived at the Norman Y. Minte San Jose International Airport here earlier today to a warm welcome from the Indian community.

“Landed in San Jose to a great welcome. Eagerly awaiting the programmes in the coming 2 days,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted.

The Prime Minister will address the Indian community in the famous SAP Centre which is expected to be attended by around 20,000 people.

The event would be hosted by stand-up comedian Rajiv Satyal along with popular actress Ashwini Bhave and Emmy award winner and the weeknight news anchor for NBC Bay Area Raj Mathai.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to meet top technology honchos later in the day. He will visit Tesla Motors and meet top officials of IT companies, including Tim Cook of Apple Inc., Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Sundar Pichai of Google Alphabet and Adobe head Shantanu Narayen.

The Prime Minister will also deliver an address at the Digital India and Digital Technology dinner. (ANI)
