Mumbai, July 9 (ANI): Shatrughan Sinha, who was spotted at the launch of a magazine in India’s showbiz capital Mumbai, feels that Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ is the most secular movie that he has witnessed in recent times.
While addressing the media, the 69-year-old actor said, “I have witnessed monocracy taking over democracy. Even if the movies are passed by censor board or are a National Award winning film, people have problems with it playing in theatres. What I have heard about the movie is that it is the most secular film in recent times. So, my humble request would be to watch the movie before passing judgement about it.”
Talking about the religious controversy, the veteran actor also said that if the objections are being raised about pronunciations or wrong word in any chant by Salman then the people should know that many of the pundits do not know how to pronounce several words properly.
Shatrughan, who celebrated his 35th anniversary with his wife Poonam Sinha, was spotted at Magna House to launch Society Magazine Mumbai. (ANI)
