Chandigarh, July 25 (ANI): The Congress on Saturday said Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s speech in Bihar made it seem as if the state was not a part of the country.
“Even people of Bihar must be wishing that the Prime Minister would talk about the corruption prevalent within the leaders of BJP and his chief ministers. There is calm in the parliament because we want to see action, talk about resignation, and be it Sushma Swaraj, Vasundra Raje or Chauhan. After listening to Modi’s speech, it did not seem that he had an idea that Bihar is a part of the country,” said Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed.
Prime Minister Modi had earlier today attacked the RJD saying that the party stood for ‘Roz Jungle-raj ka Darr’, while addressing a rally in Bihar.
He also accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of breaking away from the NDA alliance for ‘personal gains.’
The Prime Minister had also said there was something wrong with Kumar’s political DNA that led him to ditch friends who once worked with him.
“I was hurt when he withdrew his support. But when he did the same thing to a Mahadalit such as Jitan Manjhi, then I figured out there is something wrong in his political DNA,” he said. (ANI)
