Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying two suspects following an armed robbery at a coffee shop in the City of Markham.

On Friday, June 3, 2016, just after midnight, two male suspects entered a coffee shop located in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Don Mills Road and jumped over the front counter. One of the suspects assaulted a female employee and made a demand for cash from the till. The other suspect stood by, pointing a handgun at employees. The employees complied with the suspects demands and the suspects fled to an awaiting car, which fled south on Don Mills Road.
