Brampton, February 5 (CINEWS): Many parents as well as gas station owners in the GTA are known to warn their female children in particular about the perils of working at a gas station. The risk of being held up at gun or knife point is increasing and it presents young, inexperienced students or seniors working at these places with a danger they could do without.
Every other week police report some incident or the other involving gas station robberies. The most recent news report was from the Peel Regional Police who informed the public that the search for three suspects wanted in connection with a gas station robbery Sunday morning in Brampton.
The incident was reported around 7 a.m. at a gas station in the area of Mississauga Road and Bovaird Drive.
The suspects are said to have taken cash and cigarettes.
Police say a weapon was used and minor injuries were reported. Police do not have any description of the suspects at this time.
Central Robbery Bureau is investigating.
