Police seeking suspect in Mississauga shooting case

An ‘armed and dangerous’ man is loose in the GTA area, Peel Police have warned.

Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Peel Regional Police  said the should not be approached.  The man is being sought for a shooting that occurred in Missisagua on Monday.

On Monday, July 18, 2016, at approximately 7:55pm, the victim was exiting a restaurant located at 77 City Centre Drive in Mississauga, when he was approached by the suspect who produced a handgun and fired.

The victim, a 30 year-old male from Toronto, was transported to a trauma centre in Toronto. He was treated for injuries and released. The suspect is described as male, black, approximately 5’9” tall, wearing all black. The suspect fled in a grey vehicle.

Investigators would like to speak to any individuals who were in the area 77 City Centre Drive in Mississauga at the time of the incident or anyone who may have information on this matter.

The police said that if anyone comes into contact with the suspect,or knows his whereabouts, they should contact police immediately. – CINEWS
