Pulsating Indo-Pak encounter ends in thrilling 2-2 draw

Karachi, June 26 (ANI): A pulsating match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan ended with a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Hockey World League semi-finals at the KHC Dragons Stadium in Antwerp on Friday.

Ramandeep Singh scored two fine goals as the game swung from end to end, with both sides threatening to run away with the winner. Pakistan captain Muhammad Imran scored twice for the Green Shirts, first scoring the equalizer that would put Pakistan at par with India with the score 1-1, and then to take the lead before Ramandeep’s almost instantaneous equaliser.

This result gives India seven points from three matches to sit on top of Pool A, while Pakistan now have four points from their three outings, having lost the previous match to Australia. (ANI)
