Punjab Govt. decides to re-introduce primary, middle school exams

Chandigarh, Feb. 8 (ANI): The Punjab Government decided to re-introduce examination system for the primary and middle school classes, said State Education Minister Daljeet Singh Cheema.

Cheema said, “Different sections of the society were consulted before taking the decision in the larger interest of the students. All the formalities have been completed in this regard.”

A resolution to this effect was also unanimously passed in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha which was later forwarded to the Centre. Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has also written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to re-introduce the examination process. (ANI)
