New Delhi, Sept. 19 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday slammed Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for training his guns on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that it was curious how no one from the grand alliance was keen to be seen with him on stage and added that instead of pointing fingers at the NDA Government, Rahul must give an account of the failures during the UPA regime.
“Rahul Gandhi needs to stop talking on these issues as Modi ji’s work is there for everyone to see. When addressing his rally in Bihar, what Rahul should really have said is what did the Congress do for the people in the ten years that they were in power,” BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli told ANI here.
Kohli further stated that if Rahul really cared about the youth of Bihar, then why was he so keen on bringing back ‘Jungle Raj’ in the state.
Reiterating his ‘Suit-boot ki Sarkar’ jibe, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had earlier dubbed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a ‘feku’.
“Prime Minister Modi promised two lakh jobs, promised Rs.15 Lakh to each account and to reduce high prices. Did it happen? ‘ Feku tha, hai’ (He was a braggart and will remain one). If you look around you wouldn’t find anyone wearing a suit or boot,” said Rahul while addressing a rally in Champaran. (ANI)
