Media reports this week warned of a ticket scam making the rounds on fake social media posts that are advertising heavily discounted Canada’s Wonderland tickets.

Canada’s Wonderland warns that these offers, and websites are not sponsored by the company in any way, and there was a similar scheme spreading across WhatsApp.

The fraudulent posts say that you can get five free tickets to the park, linking to “”.

According to The Canadian Press, the link leads to a web page to complete an online survey, then tells you to share the link to get the free tickets.

York Regional Police have been notified of the scam, according to The Canadian Press.

If you’re planning to go to Canada’s Wonderland this summer, it’s best to purchase tickets from sellers you can be sure are legitimate.
