Richa Chaddha has stepped amidst towards the development of girl child and women empowerment, amidst many actors. The actress, who plays the role of Sukhpreet, wife of Sarabjit Singh in the biopic Sarbjit has decided to do her bit for women empowerment.
Richa Chadda is recently supporting a NGO called Puranta. This NGO saves and helps innocent girls from human trafficking and gives them technical training in centres across Mumbai. She will raise funds for them with the help of her network and also wishes to spread more awareness about the issue. According to a source When Richa met the girls at center, for the first time she got inspired by them, with their will power and desire to reach a certain position in life. Richa will be spending her time extensively to work closely with the women from these NGOs who have braved difficult situations and are trying to give life a new lease.”
