Rijiju to review infrastructure projects in Arunachal

New Delhi, Feb.18 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju began a two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh today to review the roads and other infrastructure projects in the border state.

Immediately upon his arrival at Bhalukpong, Rijiju travelled by road to Tenga Valley in West Kameng District to make an on-the-spot assessment of the vitally strategic highway.

Rijiju will review the progress of infrastructure development works at the District Commissioner’s Office at Bomdila in West Kameng district tomorrow. He will also inaugurate the sector headquarters of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) at Bomdila.

Rijiju will attend various public programmes at Bomdila and Pedung in West Kameng district before returning to New Delhi.

Rijiju is accompanied by the Director General of the SSB Archana Ramasundaram. (ANI)
