New Delhi, Aug 23 (IANS) Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday appointed Ripun Bora as president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC).

Bora has been appointed following the death of former Congress state unit president Anjan Dutta, who died following cardiac arrest in New Delhi on June 16.
